The delegation held a workshop in BADEA, which were attended by more than 25 senior staff members of the BADEA.
The IDB mission shared the IDB’s experiences in the following areas:
1. IDB Operational/ Project Cycle and Internal Processing Mechanisms
2. Project Quality at Entry, Implementation and Exit
3. Project Procurement
4. Operations Portfolio Management
5. Operations Performance and Results Management
BADEA also shared with the IDB team it’s operations approach and strategy to improve the project quality and development results.
Upon conclusion of the workshop, the IDB mission shared with the Management of BADEA its conclusions and feedback along with the suggested short-term initiatives and quick wins that can be implemented by BADEA to improve project quality as well as to enhance development effectiveness.
