Cooperation between BADEA & BDEAC

US $ 15 million dollars from BADEA to the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC)

The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC), signed today, Wednesday, 26/07/2017, at BADEA’s Headquarters in Khartoum a Line of Credit of US $ 15 million, as part of BADEA’s program for financing Private Sector Operations.

 

The Line of Credit will contribute to the financing of the private sector projects in the States of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Chad and Equatorial Guinea), through the Central African Development Bank to provide appropriate funding for projects in various economic sectors, thus contributing to sustainable development in the targeted countries, improve living conditions of the population and poverty alleviation.

H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, Director General of BADEA signed on behalf of BADEA, while the President of BDEAC, H.E. Mr. Fortunato-OFA MBO NCHAMA, signed for his Bank.

It is worthy to note that the Development Bank of the Central African States, usually known for its French initials, BDEAC, is an international financial institution charged of financing the development of the member states of Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC).
