BADEA’s Director General visits UNITAR’s Headquarters

H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, Director General of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and Mr. Mohamed El Aïchouni, Head Studies Division, visited UNITAR’s Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on 29 March 2017.

The purpose of the visit was to review the results of the needs of the assessment phase of the BADEA-UNITAR Technical Assistance Programme on Private Sector Development completed in 2016, to agree on the implementation strategy of the content development and knowledge development phases in 2017/2018, and to discuss common areas of cooperation.

The BADEA’s mission was received by the Executive Director of UNITAR and UN Assistant Secretary-General H.E. Mr. Nikhil Seth.

BADEA and UNITAR have a very fruitful partnership since 2013, under this partnership, BADEA has financed five training programs implemented by UNITAR for the benefit of cadres from African beneficiaries’ countries Since 2013.
