Verizon Debut Pay As You Go Unlimited PopData Bolt-On
Written by Writing onlineVerizon Wireless have unveiled a new feature today called PopData, which is pay-as-you-use data feature allowing subscribers to buy thirty or sixty minutes of unlimited and off-plan data for $2 or $3. Any and all data used during this 30 or 60 minute session does not count against the normal plan data allowance. In order to use the feature, customers need to use the My Verizon app on their smartphone: simply open the application and look for the PopData button. If the option is greyed out, you won’t be able to use the feature – more on this later. However, assuming you can select it, tap on it and decide how long you want a PopData for. Verizon will need your location services and push notification services on so that they can determine where you are and notify you when the PopData session is over.
