BADEA signs loan agreements with Ethiopia and Burundi

The agreements were signed on the sidelines of the 52nd Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank (AfBD), that took place in Ahmedabad city, India, 23-26 May 2017.
The Minister of Economy, Finance & Development of Burkina Faso visits BADEA’s Headquarters in Khartoum
Written by عبد الحفيظ حساينيةAs part of the cooperation between the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), and the Sub – Sahara African countries; a delegation from Burkina Faso, led by H.E. Ms. Hadizatou Rosine Coulibaly/SORI, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Development, visited BADEA's Headquarters in Khartoum from 19 to 20 May 2017.
H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, the Director General of BADEA, received the delegation, the meeting discussed, among other issues the current and future projects, which BADEA is involved in Burkina Faso, as well as means to promote and foster ties between the two sides, particularly in private sector’s projects and the foreign trade financing operations.
It should be noted that BADEA's commitments for Burkina Faso to date have reached approximately US $ 253 million to finance 65 development operations.
It is worth-mentioning that by the end of June 2016, the total funding of Arab development institutions, including BADEA's assistance, reached approximately US $ 1846 million, by the end of June 2016.

Signing three Lines of Credit with two African Banks

The Lines of Credit were signed on the sidelines of the 42nd Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), that took place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, during the period 17-18 May 2017.
