2nd BADEA’s BOARD OF DIRECTORS IN SHARM EL SHEIKH

Egypt, will be the venue for the Second Meeting of BADEA’s Board of Directors for the year 2017. The meeting will be held in Sharm El Sheikh City, Arab Republic of Egypt, from 05 to 07 July 2017, under the Chairmanship of H.E. Engineer Yousif Bin Ibrahim AL BASSAM and in the presence of H. E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH, the Director General.

 The agenda of the meeting includes several important issues; spearheaded by the report of the Director General on the Bank’s activities during the period March –May 2017, in addition to several financial reports for the same period.

 The Board of Directors is expected to approve financing of a new batch of projects and technical assistance operations, in favour of several African beneficiary countries.

It is worthy to note that BADEA’s total commitments in Sub-Saharan African Countries (44), have significantly increased since 1975 to reach US $ 5451,298 million in March 2017.
