Cooperation between BADEA and the Republic of Guinea

Within the framework of cooperation between the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) and non-Arab African countries, H.E. Dr. Diéné Keita, Minister of Cooperation and African Integration, visited BADEA’s Headquarters in Khartoum and met with the Director General H.E. Dr. Sidi Ould TAH.

Discussions revolved around current joint activities and future cooperation between the Republic of Guinea and BADEA in different sectors, exploring means of promoting and developing such cooperation.

The two parties expressed their satisfaction with the performance of the cooperation programme and pledged to strengthen it.

By the end of June 2018, BADEA’s assistance to the Republic of Guinea reached US $ 232.5 million to participate in financing 49 development projects and technical assistance operations.

The total Arab Financing Institutions aid to the Republic of Guinea, including BADEA's assistance, has reached US $ 1382 million until end of December 2017.
